It’s time! This month is all about The Perks of Being a Wallflower. At least, it is for me. I’m so excited about reading some books I should have read long ago. I’m also excited about the movies and the music (here’s a playlist). You can listen at read at the same time! Then, on the 14th the movie releases (though I have to see on the 15th because I have class on the 14th).
Read Along – I know Perks is a short book, but I’m doing a read along so that I can break to read some of the books Charlie reads. So, I’ll be posting about each part every Sunday. Depending on how fast you read, I’d say it should take about thirty minutes to read each part. Maybe less. Anyway, here’s my schedule:
Sept. 2 – Part 1
Sept. 9 – Part 2 (also my birthday!)
Sept. 16 – Part 3
Sept. 23 – Part 4 & Epilogue
Sept. 30 – My review!
Reviews & Related Posts
Linky time! If you post any reviews of Perks, the movie, or any of Charlie’s books or movies (here’s a list), please leave your link here. It can even be an older review. Also, link up any other Perks-related posts here. I’ll tweet the hell out of them! Speaking of tweeting, if you’ll be doing any of that please use the hashtag #PerksinSept so I can keep up with it and retweet.
If you don’t have a blog, but want to participate feel free to link up your Goodreads reviews or you can write up a guest post for this blog. Just email it to me at lauraashlee@gmail.com.

I’m participating in 3 Read-A-Longs in the month of September so my starting post features all three. Can’t wait to start! Thanks for the push to read this book. It’s been on my TBR pile for way too long. My daughter will be glad that I finally picked it up

I feel your pain! It was sooo hard to stop at Part 1.
The only reason I could was because I have other books that are begging to be read.
Whoops! Forgot to link up Part 2 last week.
Thanks for hosting Laura Ashlee and giving me the final push I needed to read this amazing book

I just started the book today and I am really loving it. It’s so short I may just finish it by tomorrow. I’ll link up when I’ve posted on it. I’m excited for the movie, but it doesn’t release here in the UK until Oct 3.
